The Ambergris Jade Museum, located on front street in the center of town in San Pedro, Belize should not be missed You will be greeted at the door by Pablo, Sirley or Pam, and taken on a tour of the museum where you will learn about the history of jade trading and the role of Ambergris Caye in the trade route of the Mayas. See an overview of 3,000 years of Mesoamerican jade and it’s importance to the culture in the region.

As you are guided through the museum you will have the opportunity to see an artificial ‘DIG’ and see the beautiful artwork and artifacts. You can purchase beautiful Jade replicas, Jade jewelry and other Items such as this Jade chess set. You will be able to purchase unique jade pieces, products, pottery and fabrics from around the Maya World.
