Planning for Lobsterfest 2008 underway

Expect bigger and better things in 2008

After receiving very positive feedback regarding San Pedro Lobsterfest 2007, the San Pedro Business Association is already hard at work planning bigger and better things for Lobsterfest 2008. The festivities will start on Saturday June 14th, 2008 and run until June 21st. Along the way expect Beach BBQ’s, Largest Catch competitions, Sunset Cruises, a Lobster King and Queen Pageant, Live Music, Cocktail and Lobster recipe competitions and much much more. San Pedro Lobsterfest a Stunning Success

Weekend Celebration exceeds all expectations

Thanks to all who helped and made contributions to make the San Pedro Lobsterfest one of the best events of the year. Thanks to Ecologic Divers, Portofino, Seaduced by Belize, Cholo’s, Tropic Air, Ambergris Today, San Pedro Sun, Banana Beach, Pedro’s Inn, Fido’s, Blue Tang, Atlantic Bank, Alliance Bank, Belize Bank, Sunrise Realty, Pelican Properties, Ambergriscaye.com, San Pedro Police Department and the largest contributor Magnum Belize.

A ‘Thank You’ to all those who set up booths at the block party: Changes in Latitudes, Casa Picasso, Pedro’s, Coconet Internet, Tabu, Sylvia’s Kitchen, Big Daddy’s, Atlantic Bank, Fido’s, San Pedro Library, Bowen and Bowen and KSV Playland.

A special thanks to the Town Board and in particular Miss Verde. Finally a big Thank You to Rebecca Arceo, without her help the block party would still be in the beginning stage. She pulled all the strings and made sure that everyone from participants, to competitors, to guests had a wonderful time. Further thanks is due to Tazmara Gowans (Barefoot Books), Pamela Zetina and Keira Forman for helping in arranging the booths Saturday afternoon.
